The REST API

The API answers in JSON at https://api-service.labelsentry.com/v1. Every request needs an API key as a bearer token.

Rate limits

Requests per hour depend on your plan, from 60 on Free to 60,000 on Business. Every answer carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining. Over the limit you get 429 with Retry-After in seconds.

GET /v1/artists

Your watched artists.

GET /v1/changes

Changes since a point in time, newest first, at most 200. since is an RFC 3339 time and defaults to 24 hours ago. It cannot reach further back than your plan's history.

The tools, on Business

The tools count against the same daily allowance as in the dashboard. See Tool limits.

Errors

Errors answer with a status and a body like {"error": {"code": "unauthorized", "message": "..."}}. 401 means the key is missing or revoked, 429 that you are over the limit.
