Your first minutes
After signing up, a short guided setup names your organization, adds your first artist and sets up alerts.
Updated October 17, 2026
A new account opens with a guided setup on a page of its own. Every step can be done later in the dashboard, but the setup gets you to your first alert in a few minutes.
The steps
- Name your organization. The label, management or artist name you work under. It appears on alerts and invoices and can be changed anytime.
- Add your first artist. Search by name or paste a Spotify link. See Add an artist.
- Choose your alerts. Pick one of three presets for email: only critical changes, everything important, or everything. See Rules.
- Agree to the terms, if you have not yet.
- Product news by email. Optional, and you can change it anytime.
- The showcase. Whether your artists may appear on LabelSentry.com. Optional. See The showcase.
- Your plan. On Free you see what Beginner adds, sometimes with a discount for new accounts. See Plans.
Accounts that skipped a step
If your organization still has its default name or has no alert rule yet, the setup comes back once with only the missing steps.
