How monitoring works
Light checks every few minutes catch the urgent things, a full pass over the catalog finds the rest. How often depends on your plan.
Updated October 17, 2026
LabelSentry looks at every watched artist in two ways.
- Light checks read the profile: its releases, top tracks, picture, biography and figures. They catch a release going offline within minutes.
- The full pass goes through every release and every track of the catalog: titles, ISRCs, labels, durations, explicit flags, credits and availability.
A change is only reported once a second check confirms it, so a short hiccup at Spotify does not wake you at night.
How often, by plan
| Plan | Light check | Full catalog | Releases watched | History kept |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | every 30 min | every 2 h | newest 50 | 14 days |
| Beginner | every 15 min | every 2 h | newest 150 | 30 days |
| Artist | every 5 min | every 90 min | newest 300 | 90 days |
| Pro | every 2 min | every 60 min | newest 600 | 180 days |
| Business | every minute | every 45 min | newest 1,000 | 1 year |
Releases that just came out or just changed are checked again sooner, so problems with a new release show up first.
What we read
Only what Spotify shows publicly. LabelSentry never needs your distributor login or your Spotify for Artists account. That also means: what your distributor has not delivered yet, we cannot see yet.
