Import artists from a spreadsheet

On Business, add and verify many artists at once from a CSV file. They are verified right away, so you confirm the rights to each one.

Importing is part of Business. It adds and verifies many artists in one go, without the biography code.

  1. Open Artists and choose Import CSV.
  2. Choose Download template if you want a file to start from. It has the columns spotify and name.
  3. Put a Spotify link, URI or id in spotify. name is optional and only helps you read the file.
  4. Choose the file or drop it on the window. Comma and semicolon separated files both work, as Excel, Numbers and Google Sheets save them.
  5. Tell us which column holds what, if the names differ from the template.
  6. Check the preview and confirm.

Artists beyond your plan's limit are imported paused and start as soon as there is room.
